Le cycle de concerts « Nuits Classiques Autour du Piano » se déroule dans le cadre exceptionnel du Château de Lucens, haut lieu du patrimoine vaudois, ordinairement fermé au public.
L’initiateur du projet, le pianiste suisse Dan Poenaru, a déjà eu l’occasion de se produire en récital sur le magnifique Steinway du Château. Les réactions enthousiastes des auditeurs l'ont décidé à fonder, avec son épouse et un groupe d'amis, ce cycle de récitals de piano et de concerts de musique de chambre. Des artistes de valeur comme le violoniste Laurentius Dinca, le violoncelliste Christoph Igelbrink, tous deux membres de la Philharmonie de Berlin, l'EuropaKlavierTrio ou la pianiste Sylviane Deferne, se sont produits lors de la première édition. La pianiste russe Sofja Gülbadamova et le Quatuor Sine Nomine sont attendus pour l'édition 2019-2020.
Une présentation des œuvres interprétées sera faite, au début de chaque concert.
« Nuits Classiques Autour du Piano » offrent également l'occasion de découvrir un joyau historique lors d'une visite guidée du magnifique Château de Lucens et de se retrouver entre amis autour d'un cocktail dînatoire délicatement préparé par le chef Eric Schmutz.
